NO PHYSICAL LOCATION: This meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provision of California Assembly Bill 361 which authorizes, until January 1, 2024, a local agency to use teleconferencing without complying with teleconferencing requirements imposed by the Ralph M. Brown Act when a legislative body of a local agency holds a meeting during a declared state of emergency, as that term is defined, when state or local health officials have imposed or recommended measures to promote social distancing, during a proclaimed state of emergency held for the purpose of determining, by majority vote, whether meeting in person would present imminent risks to the health or safety of attendees, and during a proclaimed state of emergency when the legislative body has determined that meeting in person would present imminent risks to the health or safety of attendees, as provided.
The Board of Trustees invites the community to participate in the meeting virtually.
Participants can join the meeting by phone or video using this link here https://bit.ly/3GSSAJ2. Participants may address the Board verbally or submit written questions/comments within the WebEx application. Individuals may send questions or comments to [email protected] in advance of the meeting.
Meeting participants are reminded that the Board reserves the right to limit individual speakers to three minutes and/or may impose a time limit on agenda items in order to ensure the proper functioning of governing board meetings. (See Government Code §54954.3(b)(1) and Education Code §35145.5)
All meetings are video-recorded. The recording will be available on the District’s website within 48 hours of the meeting. Videos of Board meetings will be retained on the District’s website for not less than 30 days.
If an interruption of service occurs, please use the same link to reconnect. If the meeting is disrupted due to a loss of connectivity or power in the Brisbane School District Office, or in the locations of two or more Board members such that no quorum exists, the meeting will be temporarily adjourned and continued with not less than 72 hours notice to the public.
